So, um, yup. Dai-Cast.

Also, remember to follow Dai-Cast on Twitter to find out when to tune into our live broadcasts.

This week on Dai-Cast, we’re trying to find the lighter side of the aftermath of the Japanese Earthquake. And who better to attempt going beyond the impossible to punch through the heavens of good taste, than your host Ian Horner, Brendan “Beej” Dery, Eryn Dearden, and James Oikawa to do it.

This show focuses on such ridiculous topics as:

So sit back, grab a beer and watch the funny once again bloom over the alleys of our podcast. We hope?

Also, remember to follow Dai-Cast on Twitter to find out when to tune into our live broadcasts.

This week on Dai-Cast, it’s amateur hour, as your host is stuck in the past. Therefore it’s up to this week’s host Brendan “Beej” Dery along with Jason Hill, Dan Ross, and Eryn Dearden to bring you this weeks show.

In this show we discuss:

  • A great many things.
  • Beej didn’t leave a list…

So do try to enjoy this weeks show, and don’t forget to follow Dai-Cast on Twitter to find out when to tune into our live broadcasts.

This week on Dai-Cast we continue our “coverage” of the Japan Earthquake by spewing out our usual style of commentary all over it.

On this show, we’ve got Jason Hill, Dan Ross, Ian Horner, and Brendan Dery as Beej, with special Japanese correspondent Todd Horner.

In this show we discuss:

And don’t forget to follow Dai-Cast on Twitter to find out when to tune into our live broadcasts.

This week on Dai-Cast we provide proof of life for one of our panelists as we dedicate the entire show to a discussion about the recent horrific events that have befallen Japan.

On this show, we’ve got Jason Hill, James Oikawa, Dan Ross, Ian Horner, and Brendan Dery as Beej.

For more information:

This week on Dai-Cast, we tried something new AGAIN. This show marks the start of our live broadcasts. You can also follow the @Dai_Cast twitter feed to find out our recording schedule and tune in live. Unfortunately, this experiment meant that our recorded audio suffered a bit, but we’ll have that fixed for next time. Anywhoooo…

On this show, we’ve got James Oikawa, Eryn Dearden, Ian Horner, and Brendan Dery as Beej.

And what did we all talk about? Here’s the breakdown:

All this, and probably some more, on this week’s Dai-Cast.

Good lord, what a horrible experiment. I mean, WONDERFUL! What a wonderful time had by all. And who all do you think we refer to? Why none other than James Oikawa, Eryn Dearden, Chris Fisher, Dan Ross, Ian Horner, and Brendan Dery as Beej.

And what did we all talk about? Well, let’s break it down:

All this, and probably some more, on this week’s Dai-Cast.

This week on Dai-Cast, the boys are back again for the second week in nearly two years. On this weeks chopping block, we discuss Japanese pizza prices and Pizza Burgers, Costco in Japan, and Sexy Sumo Subaru advertisements. Then, we spend an awfully long time talking about the “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” character, Derpy Hooves.

So sit back, grab your insulin, and just try to avoid a sugar coma in this week’s Dai-Cast.

Derpy Hooves 17:33 — Repent

Last season on Dai-Cast, Ian Horner has been drawn out of his Crystal Gondola, as he discovered that a romantic tryst 200 years ago has sucked him in to the shady political world of the métis nation.

Jason Hill and his wife have suffered SNOW MADNESS in northern Japan. As meters of snow pile up around him, all he can do is watch NHL Game Center while caressing a giant pile of miso he keeps under his house at night.

Brendan Dery has been seduced by a steamy seamstress whose heart has been sewed up in the fabric of his life and has been irreversibly wound up in marriage. But romantic fireworks await as he carries on an affair with Princess Auto. But will his car ever be fixed?!

Meanwhile, Daniel Ross discovers his secret testicle powers after being bit by a radioactive tanuki. With the power of life at his very fingertips, how will he keep his magical abilities from his family?

Find out, in the latest episode of Dai-Cast!

Stayed Tuned next week for the Season Premiere of Season 2 of Dai-Cast!

Hosts:

Until we get season two up and running, I have prepared a couple of smaller and rougher audio transmissions for your aural pleasure. We gathered many of the co-hosts, guests and fans, and put together a couple of raw sessions. We hope you enoy them. The first session has Jason, Eryn, Isaac Alexander and Roxanne De Valle talking about Dai-Cast.

Hosts:

Hi folks,

I just wanted to give you a quick run down on what is happening at tiltyhouse studios. We are currently in between our first and second seasons of ‘Dai-Cast’, and are in the height of getting our season 2 stuff together. In the mean time, Ian is busy moving down to Tokyo and the new fiscal year has begun for me in Japan. So, as you can probably tell, we are up to our umeshu in work.

We have prepared some bonus, ‘mid season’ material for you during the off season. I am hoping to get it out early this week. We are calling it ‘DC underground’  We hope you enjoy it.

Stay Tuned…

Brokeback MountainSo by now you all should have noticed that the Dai-Cast Episode 52 Spectacular hasn’t been released for consumption. Well, there’s a reason for that, and a very NON-technical one at that.

You see, I am currently unable to access my keyboard for extended periods of time, due to debilitating back pain. Oddly enough, it seems to be something that hits me every February, or at least these past 3 years. Impending Oscar announcements, stress in the workplace, Valentines Day, sunspots? Who knows what the cause is, the result is the same…

So Dai-Cast is going to take another week off to let this clear itself up, and hopefully get the necessary editing and compositing done to keep you, the viewing public, happy.

I wish I could quit you…

  • None worth remembering…

This week, we bring you a special Classic Dai-Cast, the first ever tiltiltyhouse podcast, from Sakuracon 2005!

OuendanDai-Cast listeners, you’ve heard us talk about it long enough. You’ve heard us rant and rave about the wonders of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. Now is your time to own a copy, and now is the time to let us give it to you.

But where does the challenge come in? All you have to do is get as many people as you know to download, and listen to Dai-Cast. You’ve got 2 weeks to do it, so get on us. Just point your friends, family, and random people on the street to tiltyhouse.com, and send us:

  • your name
  • their first name, and last initial
  • their email address, and
  • your email address

The winner of the contest will be the person who submits the most new listeners.  In the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen at random. Don’t worry, we won’t be using your email addresses for anything nefarious, just simply tracking that these people actually exist.

The contest runs for the next two(ish) weeks, ending November 26th. The contest is open to all listeners of Dai-Cast who have not won something from us in the past . (Keychain winners are still eligible, you’re prizes are in the mail)

Submit your entries either by clicking on the ”contact us” link at the top of the page, or to dai-cast@tiltyhouse.comLet’s get the word out faithful listeners, because when more people listen to Dai-Cast, everyone is a winner.
